Who are ADEB captains and how are they vetted?
Every captain passes security screening through the Amn and Elm platforms, a face-to-face interview on conduct and discretion, and training to a written standard, in formal Saudi attire. Of more than 200 applicants, fewer than half passed. Captains are employed by ADEB's partner companies and work under the ADEB standard, with security and insurance cover in place.

Is my car insured while the captain drives it?
By law, the compulsory motor insurance on your car covers any licensed driver at the wheel, including your ADEB captain. Captains are employed by ADEB's partner companies, and ADEB requires those partners to hold security and insurance cover for the trips their captains drive. Members are advised to keep the unnamed-driver benefit on their comprehensive policy.
