In Riyadh you have three ways to be driven in your own car: employ a full-time driver, ask a relative, or book a professional on demand. ADEB is the third option and the only app built for it. A vetted captain in formal Saudi attire arrives at your location, drives your car, and hands back the keys when the trip ends. You book by the trip, by the hour, or for a full day, and pay in the app after the service.
The three options, honestly
A full-time driver is a hire: recruitment, a visa, housing, a salary every month whether the car moves or not. A relative is free until the day he is busy. An on-demand captain is booked for the hours you need and vetted to the ADEB standard. Most members use ADEB for the commute, the meeting day and the evening, and keep a captain they trust on their Favorites list.
What actually happens
You add your car in the app, choose a single trip, a block of hours or a full day, and set the time and place in Riyadh. You can book immediately; two hours' notice is best. The captain arrives, greets you, takes the wheel of your car, and you take your seat. You follow the trip live in the app. The fare is shown before you confirm, and payment is charged in the app once the service is complete.
The captain standard
Every ADEB captain passes security screening through the Amn and Elm platforms, a face-to-face interview on conduct and discretion, and training to a written standard of presentation and protocol, in formal Saudi attire. Of more than two hundred applications, fewer than half passed.
